Mullagh are Kilmacud All Ireland Sevens Champions 2012 after defeating Gort in an All Galway Final yesterday evening on the eve of the All Ireland Final.

The 40th Annual Kilmacud Crokes All Hurling Sevens was held in County Dublin yesterday, sponsored by One Direct. It was played out in sunshine in Dublin over five venues. The action commnenced at 10:30am in the morning and games were played off throughout the day. Teams from Galway, Tipperary and Dublin impressed well with four Galway teams reaching the semi finals. Gort overcame Kiltormer and Mullagh defeated Beagh in their semi final. Mullagh were in superb form beating Beagh on a scoreline of Mullagh 4:10 Beagh 0:07. There was great local rivalry with both teams giving it their all to win the cup. The Mullagh team ensured that at least one trophy crosses the Shannon this weekend.
